2025 Summer Cabaret Series

Nina West rose to international acclaim in 2019 on season 11 of VH1’s hit show RuPaul’s Drag Race, placing sixth and receiving the coveted title of Miss Congeniality. She returned to the show in 2021 as a guest and was anointed “America’s Sweetheart” by RuPaul. Nina made history at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards in September 2019 as the first person to walk the carpet in full drag, in support of her season; that year, RuPaul’s Drag Race won five Primetime Emmy Awards, including Best Reality Competition Show.

The cabaret company that thrilled you with DREAMING OF THUNDER ROAD last summer is back, and they’re bringing the magic of BRILLIANT BACHARACH to the stage. Prepare to be dazzled by this unique tribute to the legendary composer Burt Bacharach and his long-time lyricist, Hal David. These iconic songwriters, much like the incredible Carole King, launched their careers at the famed Brill Building in the 1960s and went on to shape the sound of an era. The hits of fellow Brill Building alumnus Neil Diamond are also featured in a special tribute by Jersey City, New Jersey, celebrity GOMO.

Direct from the Tony Award winning revival of Company, Nicholas Rodriguez (One Life to Live, Sex and the City 2, Tarzan on Broadway) celebrates Stephen Sondheim in his critically acclaimed concert, Sincerely, Sondheim. Pulling from the thousands of handwritten letters to fans and colleagues alike, Rodriguez weaves together stories from Sondheim’s own words and explores his fascinating relationships with legends such as Oscar Hammerstein II, Jerry Herman, Jonathan Larson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and of course his own personal story. Accompanied by Broadway legend John McDaniel (popularly known for being the band leader on The Rosie O’Donnell Show), Nicholas performs music from Company, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, and more.

Now she is prepared to take Rehoboth Beach by storm in an intimate cabaret concert highlighting her favorite music. As The New York Times has raved “such magic occurs whenever Ms. Baldwin has a chance to sing.” At Clear Space, she is joined by longtime collaborator Broadway conductor (and former Rosie O’Donnell Show bandleader) John McDaniel at the piano. After a full summer of wowing audiences across roles in Hairspray, Beautiful, and Rent, it’s time to say farewell to our extraordinary summer ensemble with very personal cabaret concert, at which every artist gets to pick one song of their choice to say farewell to summer in Rehoboth Beach. You’ll be wowed by the range of these talented performers, laugh a little, cry a little, and toast them as they continue on to their next adventures. 

Tickets: FREE – patrons are invited to donate a gift card to their favorite restaurant or business in lieu of a purchased tickets. All donated gift cards will be used as part of the fundraising efforts during Clear Space’s 2025 gala.
